The next problem occurs when the untrained “amateur” comes along and introduces more water and alkaline-based detergents into the surface of the carpet or upholstery fibers. These detergents dissolve the urine salts, force the decomposition process to start all over again, and cause you to relive the nightmare-of-an-odor problem.

We then flush the fibers with purified water and extract all the contaminates. This procedure penetrates beneath the padding all the way down to the sub-flooring or deep into your upholstery cushions to the location of the contamination.

Occasionally we find a problem that is so severe we recommend removing the carpet and padding completely and sealing the sub flooring.
