My name is Carol Harbison and I am the owner of America’s Elite Carpet and Floor Care, Inc., in Lafayette, IN. My husband Mark and I started our cleaning business after many months of asking and seeking God’s will for our lives. Mark has worked for Federal Express for the past 19 years and for the last 11 years was the Operations Manager in the Lafayette station. I worked at the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Department for almost 10 years and the last 8 years, I was the Assistant to the 911 Director for Tippecanoe County.

We both love working with people and helping them in whatever way we can, but have always wanted to do more. We started seeking and asking the Lord to show us what He wanted in our lives. Well, to be honest with you, we were both really surprised at the doors that started opening for us in this field. After many months of soul searching we decided to start taking classes to get our education and certifications in this industry. What happened next was truly amazing and life changing for our family. Once we realized what God had entrusted us with, we understood what actually mattered to Him was not the company itself, but what we did with it, not the success we’d attained, but how we used it. We have gown to embrace the truth; that success if far less relevant than significance. What our company is about is: Trust, Respect, Quality, Education and giving our community the best service that the deserve and desire. We realize that having someone in your home is not anything that someone looks forward too, so we try our very best to make the disruption as minimal as possible. I have tried to build our business around what I would want for myself and my busy life and family.
